Testimonials

It was the first club I tried and fell in love with it after the first go. There are so many different ages of people and no one is left out. It’s made me realise it’s really fun to be apart of a team. And playing basketball has encouraged me to start believing in myself.

Seeing my son passionate and interested in somethingHelped my son's mental health because he benefits a lot from physical exercise and focusing on something positive. Basketball has given him the opportunity to succeed in something.
David, parent
Whole club atmosphere and family feel has helped my son mature and improve in a positive way by underlining the value of hard work and rewards/improvement. All the coaches and volunteers are amazing and much appreciated.
The Martin family
The Cobras has been a positive influence on our boys on and off the court. The Wednesday training and Saturday sessions have been great for our boys, they understands the game much better and being part of team, regardless of winning or losing.

Stephie, parent
The club is really welcoming and inviting, their main focus is 100% the kid's and their passion for basketball. My child's confidence has grown, her shyness has disappeared, she is active weekly and getting involved in every game she possibly can.

We liked first trial with Coach Martin and thought it would be great environment to develop on both playing and personal level. Playing against top clubs in the UK and Europe alike was great friendship and high level of competition including EYBL.
Tara, parent
The kindness the coaches show their teams and the fun my daughter has whilst playing gives a warm family feel. I’ve seen just how kind and welcoming the coaches are! The greetings and feedback from coaches especially Ruth and Vuk!

The club always puts each players development and happiness first whereas other clubs can put too much emphasis on results and winning. Coaches that I have had in the past made sure to also develop my traits as a person and not just a player which has helped me mature.
Miriam, parent
As a parent I was really impressed with friends who recommended Cobras. My child gave up karate and it was the perfect opportunity to join. He was offered a slot at Reading Rockets were my godson played but Cobras felt more friendly.

I suffer from social anxiety, so what I liked the most was the integrity. From moment zero, they have made me feel like I've been playing for years; the coaches are very good. I had never been treated by such professional, kind, and heartfelt trainers before.

I was helping Ruth out with summer training, Ruth asked me if I wanted to coach the girls and I agreed. Having so many girls playing basketball made me want to play basketball again after falling out of love with the sport while at university.
